Ah Anfesa, Ok. I already figured that they imported Kramit and sold them under their name. Nice bike. Beta is spanish fork, right? Akront as well spanish? So almost a complet Portugies/Spanish bike? Used to have a Puch Condor in Spain when I was 15/16 years old. Nice bike, but of course not as fast as Casal / Huvo engine.

this small brand is near mi home , i race with this bikes in the early 90. but i dont now if this frame is from portugal or not. the gaz tank is made with fiber glass , betor in front and pailoi in the rear , akront and disc brake in the front ( mine was a diferent brake to be able to race ins de the vintage mx wtih a air colled 50cc casal engine ) the bike is a copi of the dt125 lc from 1983 .

witch is 7 years portuguese national champ in 50cc enduro and raids, it was built to e a 50cc competicion enduro bike , the last one built in portugal , i have the luky to have 3 bikes like this , they came with 40x40 engine ( with a cilinder huvo replic ) in the public version with 9,2cv , 21 bing carb , tiwn disc brakes , pailoi suspension , tiwn radiator , alluminion swingarm, very light , and very actual in the ciclistic and fram . in the ride you can compare that bike to a japonese from the 2000 year , powerfull oversize brakes , good and strong suspension a nice engine and strong , but like on off power button .

norttee a écrit :casal was a big fabric in portugal , but small in the europe , and they cange specs 2 o 3 ou 4 times in a year , and thy had a problem with hrd , they build a lot of red m117 e m118 engines, and some one broke the contrat , and they had to respray the engines to black again and sel them in portugal , lot of brands in portugal built the motorycles and use casal engine , casal engine with 6 gears , like a japonese its a litle samll part of the marced in portugal , casal with 2 gear and 4 gear and 5gears lik sachs and zundapp its the most usal
Nortee, I missed your comment. Interesting. Guess Barthold, the Importer was already bankruped at that time. He did not have the money to take all engines from Casal. On the other hand, the casal engines were not very long lasting.
