Ääämhh.....you know, parking is always a problem because you
need some room for (like in the great cities). And my garage is so
high that I think this is a good way to get the bike out of the way
The other bike is the TransAma.
And contact to the german Rotax-Importer? I buy sometimes something,
but the best way it is with telephone or fax.....
Anyway, here is the homepage:

Do you think that "normal humans" park their bikes like you Armin? ;)
What is the bike on the other side of the picture?
Do you still have a contact with the German Rotax- Importer? We should be interested, for parts...

Yes, the clutch is the "bad thing" of the Rotax engine.
I spoke to the german Rotax-Importer, and he told me:
"You will not wonder about the clutch if you know the
man who will build it. He was tall and strong like a bear
and had no problems with power to pull the clutch."
Unfortunately most of the people in the world will have
not so much power like this man.... :(
But fortunately they make their evolution-program for
normal-build humans :D

Now on the christmas-holidays I give the Aprilia her place
for the winter-sleep:

ARMIN S a écrit :Today the clutch evolution is ready :)
It was a good decision to make this. I can move the
clutch lever with 2 fingers. Before I had to use all 4 fingers....
Test ride will follow (after the winter) :D
So, it's not anymore a ROTAX engine! Seriously, i think that the clutch is one of the most important default of this good engine, compared to Japanese or other European makes of this particular period.

I think it should work. I tought that you already got it, with the 250 Water Cooled engine. It was maybe a upgrade on the 84 models..
Test it and give us some news Armin! ;)

Today I will make a clutch modification because it is too hard
to pull the clutch lever....
Now I got the last evolution from Rotax to the clutch system.
I hope it will have some positive effect :)
First the old clutch plate:

Then the old and the new side by side:

Here the clutch balls and lever:

There are three main differences to my modern bike:
1. The seat is too short and the tank too high, so it is not really possible
to put the weight up to the front end. So this is not so good for high
speed in the corners.
2. The clutch feels very different to my KTM-hydraulic clutch system,
I have to use all four fingers to use the Aprilia-clutch.
3. The rear drum brake is way different to a disc brake. First I thougt
I got no rear brake, after a little bit riding I feel a little braking effect.
But no way for brake-sliding into corners or something...
In the picture you can see that I really want to use the brake :)
