Hello
I am a recent new member to this useful and informative site. I have recently purchased a 1989 Beta TR34C which I plan to restore and compete on. I look forward to following various forums and post in the future.
Thanks

Hi Jean-Michel
Thank you for the welcome. I live on the North Island in New Zealand. My Beta is 1 of only 6 bikes that were originally sold here back in 1989. So far I have not ridden it in a competition but only practice. It feels good since I fitted new clutch plates and I am looking forward to competing in our Air Cooled series soon.

Hi THIERRY
Yes we do have a trials championship in NZ. There are rounds for the North Island and South Island championships during the year and then we have a three day NZ championship. This is mainly on modern bikes but it also has an twinshock catagory as well. At club level we run modern trials seperate from the Aircooled/Twin shock events.
New Zealand sent a team to the 2013 Trials des Nations. Unfortunately one of the rider fell and injured himself quite badly.
