I think I found a good solution how to improve the original foot pegs and maintain overall the original look.
The worm screws are M4.

I wish Loctite "block press style" to be strong enough to avoid unscrewing...
Is it stainless steel screws?

Yes, I also hope that the Loctite will do it's job. The heavy duty testing is yet to be done. I will let you guys know either way.
