I,m Noel 45years old
I live at the Sunshine Coast Queensland Australia, I have been riding and racing enduros and MX for over 30Yrs.
After riding Japanese bikes all these years I have now got one of my dream bikes an SWM175TF3.
I have owned it for about two years. I have just fitted a Mukini Carb and will be putting on a set of Ohlin's next week.
I love the 70s and 80s Euro enduro bikes.
Thanks Noel

Welcome Noel!! ;)You have a french thirdname no? :)
Web is magic, we can meet and speak together from each part of earth. Are you far from Brisbane?
SWM is one of the most appeciate Italian Brands of the 70/80's, and also one of my favorites. I hope you will be active in our Forum, you can create topics about your bike or anything else.
Do you have vintage Enduro bikes races in Australia?

Thanks Thierry
I am about 100Ks from Brisbane.
Our club has run a Classic enduro ride not race.
If you get VMX magazine my club ran Classic dirt and in the latest one the Australian VMX titles.
I hope to organize a race soon.
Cheers Noel

Hello Noel,
I did not know that there will be an italian SWM on the other side of the world...
Will there be more italian bikes?
Did your rear shock piggy-packs (hope you understand what I mean) not
collide with the swing-arm? It looks like there will be not so much distance in compression.
Anyway, nice bike!
Regards
Armin

Hi Armin
There are about 15 SWMs that I know of in Australia. I will put more in the SWM section.

collide with the swing-arm? It looks like there will be not so much distance in compression.
I changed them soon after.
Cheers

Hi Noel,

Your bike is awesome ! Front fender and handguards not so "vintage" but i may understand how tough is it to find out OEM parts. I was persuaded at this time, only Japanese bikes were available down under.

Cheers

Hi JP
I will fix the front guard soon, hand guards will stay as I ride a lot of tight tracks. OZ got a lot of Euro bikes, the enduro bikes much better.
Cheers
